IMBA STUDIO

Studio Practice
What we build with.
Additive Manufacturing
We run multi-material FDM operations - PLA, PETG, ASA, TPU, PA - for prototyping, short-run production, and custom fabrication. If it can be designed, we can probably print it.
Product Design & Fabrication
From parametric CAD to finished object. We design custom hardware, enclosures, jigs, and functional art - optimized for geometry, material behavior, and real-world use.
Open Hardware & Design Sharing
We publish select designs and build notes publicly. Good ideas compound when shared. Find our open releases on GitHub and across the maker community.
Studio Approach
Built different, deliberately.
Most manufacturing is about scale. We care about precision at small scale - single pieces, micro-batches, custom runs that a factory won't touch.
IMBA Studio sits at the intersection of design rigour and hands-on production. Every object that leaves here has been modelled, printed, tested, and refined in-house. We know the machines, we know the materials, and we know where the tradeoffs are.
We're based in Toronto and serve clients locally and remotely - for prototypes, custom products, B2B fabrication, and collaborative projects.
